Cllr Clive Hallam
Clive is married to Jackie and they have three grown up children, one at home and the other two still living in the County. They have lived in Isham since 2006, Clive was born in Kettering and has spent most of his life locally.
Clive has been an Isham Parish Councillor for four years and is also Chair of the Isham (New) Village Hall trustees and along with his Parish colleagues is now a trustee of the Isham Playing Field Association since Isham Parish Council have taken over this function. After Local Gov't reorganisation in 1974 Clive worked in LG Finance at Kettering and then Corby Councils for 11 years before moving his career to the growing IT sector where after 30+ years he still works as the European M.D. for a U.S. based business. In his spare time he stopped playing rugby ( No.2, Hooker) some years ago but still follows the Internationals and locally The Saints when he can, he can also be seen regularly on the Nene in "Merlot" his boat which occasionally ventures out to sea In Norfolk and also has a passion for motor bikes.
Through family he is well aware of the problems associated with a growing elderly population, elderly care and demetia and through his work he sees 1st hand some of the challenges facing Public Sector organisations as they struggle to deliver services on ever reducing budgets
