Clive is married to Jackie and they have three grown up children, one working in the NHS living in Kettering, one recently moved up to Derbyshire as business manager for a group of 10 vets plus hospital and the youngest living in London with partner and grandson Ted, Clive, who was born in Kettering has lived in Isham since 2006.

Clive has been an Isham Parish Councillor since 2011 and became a Wellingborough Borough Councillor in 2015, now a Northamptonshire North Unitary Councillor for the Earls Barton Ward which includes Isham. In 2021 Clive is Chair of the Wellingborough area Planning Committee for North Northants and also sits on Licensing plus occasionally Finance Scrutiny.

Clive is also a trustee of the Isham (New) Village Hall and along with his Parish colleagues is now a trustee of the Isham Playing Field Association since Isham Parish Council have taken over this function. Clive worked in LOcal Gon't Finance at Kettering and then Corby Councils for 11 years before moving his career to the growing IT sector where after 30+ years he has recently retired as the European M.D. for a U.S. based IT business. Clive is a board member of the River Nene Regional Park ltd and involved in developing the environmental, ecological and leisure areas of the Nene and its catchment rivers.

In his spare time he stopped playing rugby ( No.2, Hooker) some years ago but still follows the Internationals and locally The Saints when he can, he still uses his motorbikes when time allows and tries to follow World and British Superbikes.

Clive and Jackie spend a lot of time in North Norfolk around Wells, Cley and Holt area having regularly had their boat " Merlot" on the sea there and hope one to move that way.
